Devoted Advocate and Philanthropist Polina Liberman Joins Shalem Board of Directors

Polina Liberman of New York City, a devoted advocate for Israel and the Jewish people, has been appointed as the newest member of the Shalem Center’s Board of Directors. Liberman is active in myriad communal and philanthropic projects with a focus on education and Jewish identity; she and her husband Michael are longtime Shalem friends and supporters. Liberman also serves on the Board of SAR School in Riverdale and is involved in Aleph, Beit Morasha, Machanaim, RAJE and other organizations.
"Becoming a member of the Shalem Board of Directors is an opportunity to further my commitment at this critical juncture in the establishment of Shalem College," said Liberman.
Prior to becoming a full-time mom, Polina was an analyst, building mathematical models for Fair Isaac Corporation. She holds an M.S. in Operations Research with distinction from Stanford and a B.A. in Mathematics with high honors from UC Berkeley. The Libermans live in New York City with four of their children. Their oldest daughter volunteered for the IDF and made Aliyah.
