Shalem Events

The Shalem Center runs a variety of conferences and lectures throughout the year to provide a forum for scholarly and public debate in the areas addressed by the Center's research and publications. These events include the annual Zalman C. Bernstein Memorial Lecture in Jewish Political Thought; book launches for works published by Shalem Press or authored by Shalem's scholars; and public discussions of essays that appear in the Shalem Center's journal, Azure. Most significantly, the Shalem Center sponsors international academic conferences, of which the most recent was the “The Human Nature Tradition in Anglo-Scottish Philosophy: Its History and Future Prospects” on December 14-17, 2009.
