Ran Baratz
Ran Baratz is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Shalem Center's Department of Philsophy, Political Theory and Religion. He holds a B.A. in philosophy and psychology from Tel Aviv University (hons.), an M.A. in philosophy from Hebrew University (hons.), and a Ph.D. in philosophy from the Hebrew University (summa cum laude). He teaches the Introduction to Greek Philosophy at the Philosophy department of the Hebrew University and various courses in other institutions, including the Shalem Center. His areas of research include Greek Philosophy, Ancient Scientific Thought, Political Theory, Military History, Zionism and Judaism.
